Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke with him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods in which he makes a distinction at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your team. A. We own nine backend search services that are core to the company's success. One of the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search Results page. Our tech stack consists of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We likewise work closely with the Machine Learning team to bring AI-driven features to the consumer experience, such as search relevance improvements and AI-powered search. We're a collaborative, friendly group that prioritizes strong onboarding and continuous support. New group members are directed through the ramp-up process till they're positive taking complete ownership of their work. Each team member is valuable to other staff member when facing obstacles. We value a culture where wins are popular freely, and obstacles are owned together. We likewise make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep sociability strong. Q. What's your greatest achievement up until now at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy with the expert development I've attained because joining Realtor.com as a Software Engineer over 7.5 years earlier. Throughout this journey, I have actually developed deep domain knowledge, stayed updated with evolving industry practices, and regularly worked with contemporary innovations.
